In this whimsical tale, a little girl finds herself in a strange land where her only hope of getting home lies in the hands of an eclectic group of newfound friends. After chasing her most beloved toy into the garbage pail, Alicia ends up trapped in the unfamiliar surroundings of a garbage dump. Her only friends are the discarded items that live there: among them the self-important do-gooder Toaster and the valiant trenchcoat Detective Glup. They're desperate to help little Alicia find her way home, but they've got problems of their own.
