When an observatory in the Sierra Nevada Mountains receives a confirmed extraterrestrial signal, computer expert Jack Jones finds himself at the core of a team of journalists trying to relay the signal to the entire world. As events begin to unfold, the signal unleashes its ominous powers and Jack and the others suddenly thrown into a sinister world of envy, lust, greed, anger, murder and betrayal. There is only one way out, but even if they see it, will they believe it?
