Jeff, a young struggling writer is drawn to a mysterious and emotionally troubled young woman and has a passionate but turbulent affair with her. The two drift apart until Kelly discovers she's pregnant. It is then that Jeff's father begins a war to save his son from this troubled woman - and father and son are torn apart.
